How To Make Your Home Brighter

We pay out all this money to live in our homes but is it just a house or apartment in a building or is it somewhere we can really relax, do you not want your friends to walk into your home and ask how you got it looking so good or where you got that lampshade from? These tips can help you out and it need not cost you a fortune!

The first thing you need to do is use accessories, this does not mean putting flowers and vases everywhere, in fact why not look at what you like, if you adore cars then have some cool looking model cars dotted around.

The kitchen is becoming more and more of a talking point and entertaining space these days so many of us want it to look amazing and little changes can help this. Have things on display, make sure your knives aren’t tucked away but are in a nice knife block set for example.

Other appliances like a kitchen aid hand mixer out on display can look stunning especially with the correct lighting bouncing of it. The worktop surfaces also can make your units look amazing and if you can’t afford to get a new kitchen then new doors will work just as well or even just change the handles!

Your lovely knife sets might become the talk of the town after a dinner party even if your cooking wasn’t up to scratch everyone will want to know where you got your items from! So what about other rooms? The bedroom can also be your haven so how do you want it?

Think about how you want it to make you feel if you like it to relax then nice calming oranges or blues will do the trick for a more sexier look then red is certainly the way to go and for a more modern twist then simple tones like magnolia are your friend.

Now that you have the colors in mind you can add little items or ornaments maybe even personal souvenirs that you have collected to just give the room that extra personal touch, they don’t have to be time consuming or expensive to implement.

Always remember as well that your main hall way when you enter your home needs to be bright and clutter free, this gives a nice welcoming feel as soon as a guest or visitor walks in. Clutter can really spoil a room even if it is nicely decorated so make sure to have a clear out if you’re finding clutter taking over!
