Because the shower curtain is always exposed to water moulds usually form on it. One thing that you can do is to remove the curtain maybe once every two or three days and hang it out in the sun. It will get a chance to dry out completely and the sun will get rid of the germs and bacteria.
Alternatively you can schedule to wash your curtains every time you wash your laundry as well or more frequently if you are someone who goes for long periods without washing your clothes.
