As the fire grew in intensity he crawled down on his hands and knees underneath the rollover. As he advanced into the burning building is partner stayed near the entrance to feed him hose as he plowed towards the fire. The gear that he was wearing would afford him the necessary protection that he needed to get to the destination.

He advanced the hose slowly into the kitchen. The owner of the home said that her valuable wusthof knife set would be on the table, but the problem was the table was creating so much heat that he could not get close to it. He slowly cracked open the nozzle on the hose and heard the reassuring hiss of the water coming slowly to the nozzle and then seen it spray down on the table.

He glanced around in the kitchen and there on the counter top was the rare henckels knife set. He knew that he could reach that set without any problems and sprayed water in advance of where he was heading to protect him self. He grabbed at the set with his gloved hand and managed to pull it down and tuck it into his chest for safe keeping.

As he reached the exit of the kitchen the attic started cracking above his head. He knew that time was running short in the home so he started crawling faster for the exit hoping to reach it before the house gave into the giant flames.

He quickly headed for the doorway and could feel the outside air rushing in fueling the fire. He clutched tightly to the knife sets while he scrambled as fast as he could towards the exit. He could hear the sounds of people screaming to get out of the building because it was coming down.

The doorway was in reach, but he felt the floor start sagging under the weight of him and his equipment. He made a leap of faith of of the door and could hear people applauding him as the flames rolled up around him the building crumbling down on itself. He looked down and seen that his package was still safe.

As he regained his footing he walked over to the owner and handed her the prized possession that she wanted so bad. As she looked up at him with the tears rolling down her cheeks she gave him a hug for the effort that he had put forth. He looked over and seen his partner giving him the thumbs up sign and they knew they had done a great job.
